"Staff is super friendly, place is in new condition, and food is great."
"I ordered the spicy garlic Korean fried chicken wings!"
"For the price they charge, the portion is too small."
5 Pro: KChicken Con: Service Dined in and it wasn’t busy at all, we were the only table. We ordered the curry, garlic soy, and garlic spicy wings with cheese monster fries on the side. Wings had a crispy, crunchy batter. The sauces were perfectly caramelized onto the wings. As for the flavors, garlic soy is a classic, the curry was surprisingly good, and the garlic spicy wasn’t too spicy where it would be overpowering. The fries were good and the dipping sauce has a bbq-y taste to it similar to if Chick-fil-A sauce and white sauce combined. A side of cubed radish is given as a side. The young lady at the counter was mid. The only person that checked on us was the older gentleman. I’d recommend this place for takeout so you can enjoy at home. Consistent reviews show service is sub-par. Overall good food
5 The owner was so nice. He give us a lot of suggestions and guidance on the menu and came out and gave our crying sad toddler a choco pie. I have been looking for a good Korean fried chicken place I used to love Thank U Chicken but they've been closed for years. Here's my new go to spot when I'm in the area.
5 Not all Choong Man Chicken shops in the area are created equal. Trust me, I've been to some bad ones, so you don't have to. This is by far the best if not one of the best Korean chicken shops in Georgia. Located in the viral TESO Duluth plaza, you can't miss it. CM Chicken , Choong Man Chicken , 충만 양념치킨 has been around for years now. Whatever you want to call them, their chicken is absolutely delicious. Ultra crispy, tender inside, and boosted with some of the stickiest sauces and fresh, creative toppings. I've been here quite a bit, and can tell you exactly what to order. They are famous being one of the first creators of snow onion chicken which has been around for a decade now. I'm a huge fan of their curry chicken series, and any of their spring onion (scallion) series. What to order: 1 Scallion Garlic Soy - If you're not a fan of cream sauces and massive amounts of pungent, white onion then I recommend trying this classic dish first before diving in. 2 Sweet Curry Wings - The sweet and glossy curry wings are amplified by the quick char grilled technique. Love this unique flavor profile. 3 Cheesy powder fries - Sweet cheese powder is extremely delicious on these crispy fries, making them next level. You can't keep me away from this restaurant.
5 Service was great. They brought us extra of our favorite snack even before we asked. The food was delicious as we remembered from over a year ago. The prices have not changed either.
5 Best chicken we’ve had in a while! The Garlic Spicy Chicken had the perfect level of spice and sweetness. The Cheese Monster fries absolutely delicious, the powder was cheesy with a slight touch of sweetness. Paired with the sauce made it even more satisfying! The Cass beer was light and refreshing, and it went well with the rest that I ate. Service was good, nice and quick. We will be coming back soon to try another chicken flavor!
4 The floor was very sticky so when we were walking our feet stick to the floor so that was very awkward . The food was good but whoever it was cooking made sure to crush my onion rings before they serve them to me so I was very disappointed by that. Everyone else's food was perfect
4 We were craving some Korean fried chicken so we came here. Overall experience was good. We ordered the original and the garlic soy fried chicken. Food was good but there was too much breading and the garlic soy was very salty. We ordered some rice -not complimentary -for those who are curious but the radish is complimentary. We originally wanted to order the original and garlic but they don’t have the garlic and said they now have the garlic soy chicken. (Just fyi for those who have been here before.) They should probably take it off the menu. Service was good, they have a QR code for the menu and food came out fairly fast. When we first walked in, it was kind of quiet but it could’ve been a certain time of the day that doesn’t get much noise. It started to pick up closer to evening and I noticed more people ordering take out rather than dining in. But it’s a pretty big space that’s great for small or large groups. If you’re looking for something fast, stop by here and check it out for yourself. Till then, let’s eat!
5 Dropped by Choong Man Chicken a few times now and we've tried their Garlic Spicy Chicken, Garlic Soy Chicken, and regular Fried Chicken. One thing's for sure: the portions are generous. My wife and I never manage to finish everything in one go, but that's not a problem. Leftovers reheated in an air fryer come out super crispy and almost as good as fresh. While the price might lean towards the higher end, the quality makes it worth the splurge. That said, if there's room for improvement, it's in the service department. In our past four visits, not once did they check to see if we needed anything, like a refill. We also had a couple of mix-ups with our orders—got red hot pepper chicken instead of garlic spicy, and regular fried instead of soy garlic. We ate them anyway, but there's some room for improvement there. Despite these minor service issues, I'd still argue this location serves up some of the best Korean Fried Chicken in the Atlanta area. Definitely planning to return.
